HE President Ali Abdullah Saleh praised the successes achieved by SEPOC in efficiently managing and operating the Block since the transfer of operations by making use of the Yemeni staff specialized in oil industry who have proved to be competent and professional in shouldering their responsibilities and running the Block successfully in addition to the considerable revenues streaming into the Public Treasury and national economy. The President issued directives to imperatively provide all material and human resources for the national Safer Exploration and Production Operations Company (SEPOC) so that it becomes able to move into the stage of exploring and developing oilfields and invigorate the exploration and production operations in Block (18) and other blocks in order to enhance the national economy and development.
